In the second quarter of 2024, the top five beauty retail applications in Portugal exhibited varied performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Below, we delve into the specifics of each app's performance.

SEPHORA - Maquillage, Parfum saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting strong with 14K in the first week of April and then experiencing a decline, bottoming out at 3.5K in the week of May 6. However, downloads picked up slightly towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 4.4K in the last week of June. Weekly active users for the app exhibited a more stable trend, starting at 41K and gradually increasing to approximately 43K by the end of June.

Notino: profumi e cosmetici experienced a significant rise in downloads from late April, peaking at 3.6K in the week of May 20. However, downloads tapered off, ending the quarter at 877. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trend, increasing to 4.3K by the end of May before stabilizing around 2.8K in the final week of June.

Downloads for LOOKFANTASTIC: Beauty & Makeup remained relatively low and steady, starting at 412 in the first week of April and gradually decreasing to 211 by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 3.1K and declining to approximately 2.1K by the end of the quarter.

Douglas – Perfumes e Cosmética reported a consistent download rate with minor fluctuations, starting at 400 in the first week of April and ending at 319 in the last week of June. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users was not available.

Lastly, BEAUTY BAY experienced a steady download rate, beginning at 215 in the first week of April and ending at 164 in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at 1.1K and stabilizing around the same number by the end of June.
